College&Career gathering at the Pastor's home.

There will be no connect for Jr&Sr High this week... here's why...

I, as your youth pastor, feel pressed (by the Spirit, as well as circumstances) to prayerfully reassess all that we call youth ministry. Please be patient as we back-off from constant "activities" and seek God for a more biblical and effective approach. Also, I would ask all of our youth to help me seek God in this area. I love our youth and I desperately want to see all of you become what God wants you to be!

Star, Vin, and myself missed you all and we are super excited to be home! Its 2010 and I am rip-roarin-ready to rock the Divine will... I am convinced that this is going to be the greatest year of our collective existence to date! This is the year to break barriers (I mean to break them for good). Aren't you sick of being spies in Canaan? Let's take DOMIMION! We are the kings and priests here!

This Friday...UPDATE...ZooLights

Sorry folks, I was unaware that most of the church building was being used for the reception and set-up of the Salo/Wilson wedding. So... why don't you meet us at ZooLights at 7:30 instead. We will see how much cold we can stand while we drink Hot Chocolate and meander through the lights. This has nothing to do with the post, but...I LOVE YOU ALL!

i.e. before David ever stood up for God against Goliath he first stood for his sheep against the lion and the bear.

Friday UPDATE

If the weather report is correct, and there is a severe storm on friday afternoon, then we will cancel the c-dots and instead encourage all of the youth to bundle up and get out and serve our communities if the opportunity arises, as it did for many youth last friday! Watch the weather and keep posted.

Kingdom happenings are not often cut and dried. The planning for this week's activities is stalled until some set-backs regarding the Browning Baptismal Service are figured out. Remember, the Kingdom of Heaven is much bigger than our youth activities! So, hang tight... and pray for Browning!

At Mark and Star's house beside the church at 7:30pm. We will have pizza, games, and good times to celebrate His Majesty King-Father Norodom Sihanouk's (a.k.a. Preah Karuna Preah Bat Sâmdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk Preahmâhaviraksat) 87th birthday. Bring $3-5 to help with the pizza if you are able to.
